Electronic Audio Experiments: Prismatic Wall // Sympathetic Resonator
The Electronic Audio Experiments Prismatic Wall uses the instrument’s input signal to excite a bank of tuned digital “strings” into sympathetic resonance, with tones that range from deep drones and modulated reverb, to ringing metallic overtones reminiscent of sitar and gamelan instruments. Prismatic Wall blurs the lines between reverb, modulation, and synthesis, creating an entirely unique effect that blends the best of DSP and rich analog saturation and filtering. In this demo video, we put the Prismatic Wall to use in a full band context on guitar, then we dig into the enchanting depths of the control set to give you a taste of its capabilities.

The only thing missing… the ability to switch between Left and Right or stereo (both) Say you were running an IR-X and IR-D (or two other separate) preamps on the same pedalboard. You might want to just run one or the other… or blend them together… or have FX with only one, for a wet-dry setup. I guess you could do your guitar into an A/B/Y switcher then into this… but man that simple ability built in would be the shizzy!!
Such a nice alternative to the “butterflies and rainbows” types of playing when a “pretty” pedal drops. Gimme the sludge!!!

Exactly! Yeah, it's particularly awesome on bass. I couldn't work a bass bit into this vid for logistical reasons, but it's fantastic and keeps the deep low end quite nicely. Have to do a bass thing with it soon
